The overstock garment provided by 3.1 Phillip Lim has been backpacked all the way from New York to the village of Guizhou, Southwest China. Customized creatively by Indigenous artists of the Miao community, it features their unique hand-painting craft.

Miao artists employ an exaggerated style to craft fantastical designs intertwining natural elements with folklore. These intricate multicolored motifs are meticulously hand-drawn by the Miao women.
